Cynthia and I visited Rio de Janeiro and Salvador, Bahia for 10 days, a vacation of a lifetime! We gave a visual clue as to where we were going in our earlier post, http://bit.ly/JhiFfl and now we are pictured here looking up at that amazing statue.
OK, so I had to do the outstretched arms thing; such a tourist. LOL
We visited one of the favelas, or as the locals would want to say, communities. There's so much to say about that and the culture. I'll leave that for another post.
