Elyse Luray's Favorite 'Reveal' on History Detectives!

Five years ago, a story about the GAR, Grand Army of the Republic, a post American Civil War veteran's group, featuring my great great grandfather was aired on PBS's History Detectives.

I am very surprised that producer Elyse Luray claimed the episode to be her favorite in the 10 seasons of doing the program. The portrait of a group of Civil War veterans from the Cazenovia, New York area found by Angelo Scarlato included John Stevenson, my 2nd great grandfather.
