Artifacts of Our Being

We must tell our people that not only are we genealogists, we are family historians re-constructing and re-writing our collective history. Those old photographs, letters, and bibles are artifacts of our being. We are curators of our culture.

Our ancestors had EVERYTHING stripped from them; their families, countries, cultures, language, pride, and dignity.

When the opportunity to RE-BUILD came, they did so, one photograph, letter, bible and artifact at a time.

We must document every scrap of inference that says we were, are, and will be here. It is our evidence. And it matters.
